The tank clamp provides an easy to fasten and release connection to secure the tank and tank lid while absorbing the forces and torques acting on the tank lid.
For this reason, tank lid clamp (clamp-on) bolts are a better solution for securing the tank lid than the use of a conventional bolt and washer. Their use is widespread for fixing tank lids and pressure vessels.
Clamp bolts create a predetermined clamping force.
Tank clamps are available in a wide range of materials and can be supplied with a variety of surface treatments: stainless steels, acid-resistant steels, carbon steels, various alloys
Alloying and surface roughness according to individual requirements!
Possible sizes: M10-M56 with different clamping lengths
Approvals: EN10204 3.1 and EN10204 3.2 (PED)
There are basically two types of tank clamps:
Flat design (with flat gripper) - Here the flat tank clamp gripper is fitted evenly on the surface of the tank flange.
Curved design (with curved gripper) - Here the gripper has a circular, curved design.
Types of nuts:
Clamp bolts can be supplied with closed nut, high closed nut, open nut and wing nut.
